The following are the requirements for applying for a visa to Australia:
A current original passport that is at least six months old and has three blank pages, as well as any previous passports that may be available;
A notarized copy of the entire existing passport, including the back page, the biodata page, and the alterations page;

An original, updated bank statement for the previous six months;

You might have to go through x-ray and medical exams.

Australia Visa – Additional Requirements Based on Applicant Type
For Employees: Leave approval letter from employer (signed and sealed) and salary slips for the last 3 months.
For Self-Employed Individuals: Business registration proof (e.g., MOA or partnership deed), company bank statements (6 months), and company IT returns (3 years).
For Retired Applicants: Proof of retirement, such as pension book or recent pension statements.
For Students: Valid student ID card and a bonafide certificate from the institution.
For Minors: Birth certificate, notarized NOC from both/non-accompanying parent(s) on ₹100 stamp paper, and parent ID proof (Passport/PAN card).
When Visiting Friends/Relatives: Invitation letter, copy of inviter’s passport or residency permit, and utility bill as proof of residence.
If Sponsored: Sponsorship letter, sponsor's valid ID (passport/PAN/residency permit), bank statement (6 months), and IT returns (3 years).
For Business Visa: Invitation letter from host company detailing visit purpose and a covering letter from the Indian company on official letterhead.
